Dr Anna Peri is an Infectious Diseases Physician from Italy. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research in Brisbane and holds an appointment as Clinical and Research Fellow at the Herston Infectious Diseases Institute and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
Her research is focused on improving the management of bloodstream infection. As part of her PhD she has coordinated two observational studies aimed at investigating the role of novel diagnostic tests in the setting of bloodstream infections.
